3A Molecular Sieve

3A molecular sieves are mainly used to adsorb water and do not adsorb any molecules with a diameter larger than 3A. According to the industrial application characteristics, the molecular sieves we produce have faster adsorption speed, more regeneration times, higher crushing strength and anti-pollution ability, improves the utilization efficiency of molecular sieves and extends the service life of molecular sieves.

Product Introduction

3A molecular sieves are mainly used to adsorb water and do not adsorb any molecules with a diameter larger than 3A. According to the industrial application characteristics, the molecular sieves we produce have faster adsorption speed, more regeneration times, higher crushing strength and anti-pollution ability, improves the utilization efficiency of molecular sieves and extends the service life of molecular sieves. It is the first choice desiccant necessary for deep drying, refining and polymerization of gas and liquid phases in the petroleum and chemical industries.

Chemical formula: 2/3K2O*1/3Na2O*Al2O3*2SiO2*9/2H2O

Silicon-aluminum ratio: SiO2/Al2O3≈2

Effective pore size: about 3A (0.3 nm)

Product parameter

Diameter(mesh): 8*12 ;  4*8

Static adsorbed water(≥ %wt): 20;  20

Adsorption of ethylene(≥ mg/g):3.0;  3.0

Bulk density(≥ g/ml): 0.68;  0.68

Compressive strength(≥ N): 30 ;  75

Abrasion ratio(≤ %wt): 0.1;  0.1

Residual moisture content(≤ %wt): 1.5;  1.5

Applications

Mainly used for drying petroleum cracked gas, olefins, refinery gas, oil field gas, and is a desiccant for chemical, pharmaceutical, insulating glass and other industrial industries.

1. Drying of various liquids (such as ethanol)

2. Drying of air

3. Drying of refrigerant

4. Drying of natural gas and methane gas

5. Drying of unsaturated hydrocarbons and cracked gas, ethylene, acetylene, propylene and butadiene

Molecular sieve 3A can also be regenerated and reused by removing the absorbed moisture and other materials, and then heating it to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Then store the sieve in an airtight container until ready to use again to avoid any unintentional moisture absorption.
