Carbon molecular sieve is a material with precise and uniform micropores that is used as a gas adsorbent. When the pressure is high enough, oxygen molecules (which pass through the carbon molecular sieve pores much faster than nitrogen molecules) are adsorbed, while the outflowing nitrogen molecules are enriched in the gas phase. By reducing the pressure, the oxygen-enriched air adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve is released. After that, the carbon molecular sieve is regenerated and is ready to circulate and produce nitrogen-enriched air again.

Customized Products & Services
Zhongchuang carbon molecular sieve (CMS) is a black cylindrical solid with numerous 4-angstrom micropores inside, which can be used to separate air into nitrogen and oxygen. In industry, CMS can be used in conjunction with PSA systems to concentrate nitrogen (N2) from air with a nitrogen purity of up to 99.999%. Our CMS products have the characteristics of high nitrogen yield and high nitrogen recovery rate, and can meet the needs of various PSA nitrogen production systems. Carbon molecular sieves are widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, metal heat treatment, electronic manufacturing, and food preservation.
