Silver Impregnated Activated Carbon

Silver-Impregnated Activated Carbon is a functionalized material that loads nanosilver or silver ions onto the surface or pores of activated carbon. It combines the strong adsorption properties of activated carbon and the antibacterial properties of silver. It is widely used in water treatment, air purification, medical protection and other fields.

Product Introduction

Production process

  1. Impregnation method: immerse activated carbon in silver nitrate solution, load silver ions by adsorption or ion exchange, and then reduce (such as sodium borohydride) to form nanosilver particles.
  2. Co-pyrolysis: Biomass raw materials are directly carbonized and activated after mixing with silver salts to synthesize silver-carbon composite materials in one step.
  3. Chemical deposition: Silver is uniformly plated on the surface of activated carbon using technologies such as chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
